• If they tell you that they don't feel comfortable with something/to leave them alone, do as they say.
• Don't try to go through their belongings, especially without their permission.
• If they tell you that you're bothering you, or if you think you may be bothering them, please stop.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with getting a bit close and cuddly with friends, family, and possibly partner but do respect that people have limits.
